We
operate in the old continental tradition of high quality and personalized
service. Our clientele experience life from a somewhat different perspective
and search out the best the world has to offer.
We've delivered to the Queen Mother and the
Pope's entourage when they were here; and would you believe, to the space
shuttle STS-42 DISCOVERY preflight astronauts' dinner. We
would now welcome an opportunity to serve you.
Chocoholics might add that Swiss-Master also helps
in a little way define Toronto as a great city. Chocolates are mostly imported
from family-run Confiseur Läderach AG, who supply boutiques across Switzerland
and ship around the world. In 1998 Swiss-Master reached for a global grasp
with the opening of a Swiss-Master boutique in Hong Kong.
"For the price of a good
local chocolate. . .some of the very best truffles the world has to offer,"
that's how the media (Canadian Jewish News) describes
our product. They also say our packaging
is "regal — it's almost like buying a fine piece of jewelry,"
and our "staff
are friendlier than any indecisive shopper has a right to expect"
(Toronto Life).
Come visit our boutique "to buy your
food of the gods" (CTV's Canada AM). It's just north of The Bridle Path
/ Post Road area and "it's a place that will send your taste buds into
a tail spin" (CFTO-TV Eye on Toronto) and a place where
"you will find many gift ideas" (Chocolatier Magazine USA).
You'll think you've "entered a fancy boutique nestled along a winding
fashionable street in Zurich or Geneva"
(Jewish Tribune). It's a "golden
opportunity" for your company (Sing Tao Daily).
Honest, it's "the best place to buy chocolates other than Switzerland"
(Bayview Post), and we promise that you'll be able to "dazzle the
chocoholics on your Christmas list" (Toronto Sun).

Style Magazine
(These truffles available in our Toronto showcase) |
The
"store is a chocolate-lover's dream come true"
(Toronto Star) and we have a "decadent
range" of truffles (Toronto Life) - actually, over 55 types of world class
fresh cream truffles, including
several Champagnes, Mouse, Thank You, For You, I Love You, Season's Greetings,
Star of David, Silent Night, Telephone, Computer, Happy Face, Year 2000,
Dragon, Bee, Lady Bug, etc...
And oh yes, another assurance of quality and service:
we are the 1999 "Retailer of the Year", the very first for North York.

A
FOLKTALE FOR YOUNG GIRLS:
A
young girl found a sick snake at her doorstep who convinced her that
he needed tender love and help. The kind girl hesitated and pondered
at the potential danger of the situation, but eventually was taken
by the snakes humbling plea and charm and welcomed the snake
into her home and patiently nursed it back to health. One day after
making the snake a nice cup of hot tea and cookies, the snake repaid
her with a vicious bite. While lying there dying, the young girl looked
the snake in his eyes and asked with her last whispering breath, Knowing
your bite is poisonous, why did you bite me? The snake
responded, barely looking up from his cup of tea, Hey,
girly, stop those tears! You knew I was a snake when you took me in,
did you not?

For
some 27 years our SWISS-MASTER FOODS CORP (sister company) has enjoyed
many joint ventures within Canada, the U.S., and around the world – AND
IT IS CURRENTLY OPEN TO ANY AND ALL PROPOSALS. We have many potential
investors with money behind them, but we are in search of great “chocolate
talent,” especially with retail ability.
HERE ARE JUST SOME OF THE CUSTOMIZED "CHOCOLATES" THAT SWISS-MASTER
FOODS CORP SUPPLIED THROUGHOUT NORTH AMERICA in the 70s, 80s, and 90S
to hotel chains, businesses, and cruise lines:

Does
the above sing loud praises of Canada at its best, cutting through
our inferiority complex? Could it be the answer to our endless pursuit
of an identify on the world stage? It seems to capture nicely
the spirit of what Canada is all about, a country overwhelmed
by natural rugged beauty with a people very much like the land.
Would live to hear your comments?

some
thoughts about
THE HUNTER AND THE HUNTED
Each morning when the sun comes up, the gazelle awakes and knows it
must
outrun the fastest lion or be eaten.
When the sun comes up, the lion also awakes and knows it must outrun
the slowest gazelle or starve.
In the end, it does not really matter if you are a gazelle, or a lion;
when the sun comes up, you'd better be "running."
